Zillow’s “Instant Offers” is off to a popular start with realtors as it’s been instantly slammed and a petition is circling to remove the pilot program currently running in Las Vegas and Orlando. Though Zillow argues real estate agents are included throughout the process, that’s only if sellers choose to include them. In just over 5 days almost 12K signatures have been collected on the online petition via “StopZillow.com.” Getting real folks.
Wednesday, June 10th is the next date to watch regarding the CFPB and Dodd-Frank. The House will consider dismantling the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act and replacing it with the Financial CHOICE (Creating Hope and Opportunity for Investors) Act. Democrats have loudly voiced their disapproval of the act they’ve renamed as the “Wrong Choice Act” and there’s little hopes it’ll survive the Senate even if Choice survives the House.
